Marshmallow Easter Eggs

Marshmallow Easter Eggs
1 pkg. knox gelatin
1 3oz box jellos (any flavor)
1 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water

Fill two cake pans 3/4 full of flour, shake pans to level off flour. Take a plastic egg and press into the flour to make half an egg impression. Make 12 impressions. Set aside.

Mix the first three ingredients together in a bowl. Add the boiling water and stir until the jello is dissolved. Then mix on high with hand mixer for 10 minutes, so the mixture is frothy.

Pour the blended mixture into the impressions. To set the eggs, place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Then you can eat the eggs plain, or dipped in chocolate.

I made this recipe one time way back when I was a teenager. This week while I was digging through old recipes trying to find something different for dinner I ran across this recipe and thought it would be fun. The kids had a great time making and decorating these. You could also make these for valentines day in a heart shape. Be creative.
