Deep Fried Turkey

Deep Fried Turkey
1 turkey 13-18 lbs.
2 1/2 gallons peanut oil (the container you get at walmart, there is a line on the turkey frier)
1 turkey frier

Heat oil up to 325 degrees, drop turkey into oil, place lid on frier. Keep your eye on the temperature of the oil. You will need to turn it down because it heats up quick. The temperature needs to stay between 325 and 350. If temp goes over 350 turn heat off for a minute. Cook turkey 3 1/2 minutes per pound.

It's becoming tradition for us to have a deep fried turkey at Thanksgiving. It is sooo yummy and moist.
