3 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 TBSP shortening
1 c warm water

Mix to soft dough (not sticky). Roll out thin, dry pan fry.

This is my mom's recipe. We use it a lot. My family likes homemade tortillas better than store bought. If you want thinner tortillas then just omit the baking powder. Make sure you roll these thin, and don't use a lot of flour when you roll them out or the flour will burn on your pan.
