Magical Kiss Cookies

1c. butter, softened
2/3c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
about 35 kisses unwrapped. (I used mint and candy cane flavored kisses)
powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350* F. Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy. Stir together flour and cocoa, gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended. Mold 1 T. dough around each kiss, covering completely. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool completely and roll in powdered sugar.

I found this recipe last year in the Sunday coupons. I never made them until a few weeks ago for my husbands military Christmas party. I love trying new recipes and this one didn't disappoint. They are so good fresh out of the oven and they even taste good a few days after too:)

  1. I make a recipe similar to this one. But you use peanut butter cookie dough and a snack size snickers candy bar. They are soo yummy!!
