Sweet & Sour Chicken

Sweet & Sour Chicken
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1x3 inch strips
1 egg beaten
corn starch
oil
Sauce:
1 c sugar
3/4 c vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 c ketchup
2 T soy sauce (I use worchestershire sauce because it has soy sauce in it plus a little more flavor)

Dip chicken into egg and then dip into corn starch. In a small amount of oil, fry chicken until brown. Put chicken in a 8 x 11 inch pan, mix ingredients for sauce then pour over chicken. Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Serve over hot rice.
