French Cream Filled Cupcakes

French Cream Filled Cupcakes
1 box chocolate cake mix, made into cupcakes
Part 1:
5 TBSP flour
1 c. milk
5 TBSP sugar
Part 2:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
speck of salt

Cook ingredients in part 1 until thick, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool(complete). Mix ingredients in part 2 on high speed for 5 minutes. Add part 1 and beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Put filling in a pastry bag and fill cupcakes from the top. Then cover them with frosting.

Our mom used to make these when we were little. We thought that she was magic because there was mysteriously cream in the middle and we could never figure out how she got it in there. So Yummy!!!
